Wednesday, Dec 16, 2009 1018GMT [ Dow Jones]--Dubai's benchmark index ends +2.5% at 188.99. Market finishes on a bright note, clawing back the previous session's 1.5% slide. Traders say investors are working through the ramifications of Monday's $10b lifeline thrown to Dubai by Abu Dhabi. "I believe GCC markets, and Dubai, have set a floor and risk is to the upside from here," says one local broker. Heavyweight Emaar leads form the front again Wednesday, surging 7% to AED3.98. The stock has now gained about 24% over the past week. (TRF) Copyright (c) 2009 Dow Jones & Co. try{document.write(_banner_zone('zone9337')) }catch(e){} (END) Dow Jones Newswires 16-12-09 1017GMT
